Evaluation
Tool Development, Data Collection, Evaluation Plan, and Dissemination

Using an indigenous and culturally responsive lens, our team works to utilize the most appropriate evaluation approach based on the specific program and organization. Based on the program’s evaluation question and plan, our team develops a variety of evaluation and assessment tools as a way of gathering quality data from participants. This data helps to provide the story of the program. Our evaluation reports are designed to meet the needs of the organization’s reporting requirements. We work with the program team to ensure that the data presented is aligned with funders’ and organizations’ expectations.

Capacity Building and Strategic Planning

The goal of building capacity within an organization is to help ensure that all members of the organization are comfortable in working the mission and having the skills needed. This is especially important when examining and translating data, when using evaluation as an example we break down evaluation into easy steps to clearly understand the “why” and the “how”. We will work with the organization to help them understand how they can live out their mission, what is the impact they make for their communities and those around them. Creating in collaboration strategic plans and strategies to help the organization be the best they can within their industry.

Community Engagement and Facilitation

Building pilina (relationships) with the community is a value of Ng-Osorio Consulting LLC, we know how important it is to engage with the community in a meaningful way that resonates with them. Listening to community, allowing them to be part of the change, allows for greater collaboration and unity between communities and organizations. We can help to engage as well as facilitate these sometimes difficult conversations, with the knowledge that we bring from our experiences working in the field.
